The adage March wind and April showers bring forth the May flowers seems to have skipped a few steps. March wind in Virginia is a check and so are the showers but in March and not April yet. My husband came in from work the other day stating that the grass on the lawn seems to be soaking up the rain getting ready for its haircut. We have had some warmer days and doors have been left open to let in the sunshine and the fresh air in some cases, but we are back to cold, rainy and windy this week and into the weekend. It is just like Virginia weather to keep us guessing. I am ready for warmer weather and ready to get my hands into the ground to start growing things like herbs, tomatoes, flowers, and other fresh and beautiful things.
New products are sitting in the sewing room waiting to be finished, also known as UFO’s or unfinished objects. The stuffed rabbits need faces and of course their clothes and the little variegated bears need faces. There is also a dog and a cat upstairs waiting for their finishing touches. The new tiered dresses are in production. There should be two ready for a sneak peek within the next week or two. The embroidery machine has been greased and is now up and running. I am so excited to show you how these little embroidery touches are going to add to so many things. Right now, the tiered dresses are in size 12 months, 18 months, size 2T and size 4T with more coming soon.
New products will make their first appearance in the studio. Stop by the studio at 3618 Goodview Avenue in Cave Springs, VA. The studio is stocked with dresses, boys, rompers with bears, rabbits, a dog, and a cat being added before the end of the month. Stop by and see what is ready for you to take home. There are dresses and rompers in the studio and online for Easter but if you want something special, I will be taking special Easter orders until March 30, 2022. Especially For Ewe wants to help you get ready for the arrival of the Easter bunny at your house.
