The Weather Here In Virginia

Welcome to weather in Virginia in January. First it is hot, almost 70 degrees, then it is cold, 18 degrees Thursday morning, and don’t forget to throw in some snow and a nor’easter threated for Friday. Time to sit around the living room with your latest project and spend time with your husband or significant other watching football playoff games.

Especially For Ewe is gearing up for spring and some craft shows beginning with the Bedford Fiber Festival April 30 at the Bedford Farmers Market. Details to come soon. That is only the beginning of shows for the year. Especially For Ewe is going to do some branching out from the usual flock of shows into the Sunflower festival, and possibly Old Salem Days that has been on my bucket list for years. My support system, Michael, will be right there will me no matter what shows Especially For Ewe chooses to participate in.

Let me introduce you to the newest member of our household. His name is Bogey, and no we did not name him. Since Rocky’s crossed the Rainbow Bridge before our move to Cave Springs in November, a dog has been on both of our minds and hearts but not just any dog. Michael was looking for a rescue dog that was a little older. Bogey is 8 and was found on the street. Now he lives indoors and even sleeps on the bed. What a change for him. As for the cats, Leopard and Bogey have come to an understanding, Tiggr is still not sure about his new brother.

The studio is open and ready for visitors and friends and people that are looking for quality children’s clothing. I look forward to meeting new people and sharing what Especially For Ewe is. The address is 3618 Goodview Avenue in Cave Springs, Virginia and is open from 10am – 3pm on Tuesday through Saturday unless it is a craft show weekend.
