March Is National Craft Month

Welcome March, it is National Crafters Month. A month celebrating those of us that enjoy the arts in whatever form that comes in. For some it is fabric and creating quilts or even dresses. For some there is yarn that is their means to create special treasures. Then there is paint and ink used to produce wonderful drawings. Let’s not forget jewelry makers taking things they find and making practical pieces that we can wear. Whatever you use to express your creativity, I want to wish all of you a happy National Crafters Month.

There is new fabric in the sewing room ready to start a new project that I am excited about. This time the fabric is for tiered dresses. Look for speak previews of this project coming very soon. There are stuffed muslin rabbits that are all put together and waiting for their clothes. I am hoping to use the embroidery machine for the dresses and overalls for the rabbits. There are other new things in the works as we get closer to craft shows starting for Especially For Ewe. If you are wondering what shows Especially For Ewe will be attending, follow me on Facebook. Have you been to the new studio at 3618 Goodview Avenue in Cave Springs, VA? The studio is stocked with dresses, boys, rompers with new things being added on a regular basis as they are completed. Stop by and see what is ready for you to take home. Studio hours are 10am – 3pm Tuesday through Saturday. If those times don’t work for you, give me a call and you can come on your schedule.
