Boxing, Trucking, and Moving

For those of us that have ever moved from one place to another, no matter how far, I know that you can feel my pain. November 1, 2, and 3 we have spent finishing packing and moving to our new location in Roanoke VA. We both love where we are moving to and are excited about his new job, the new opportunities as well as the new location. But the actual process of moving, the boxing, sorting, transporting can be very draining, and we have found that very true. Thank goodness for Door Dash for supper both nights. Now that I have found dishes as well as pots and pans, I can start cooking again as residents of Roanoke Virginia. .

Here is some history about smocking:

A smock-frock or smock is an outer garment traditionally worn by rural workers, especially shepherds and waggoners, in parts of England and Wales throughout the 18th century. Today, the word smock refers to a loose overgarment worn to protect one's clothing, for instance by a painter.

Just call me crazy!! Moving, adding studio hours, and adding new product and now a new show has been added. We just found out about this show, and it looks like a keeper. Come visit the vendors at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex of Chatham, Virginia. The show is Saturday November 27. The Saturday after thanksgiving, from 8 am-2 pm

The ODAC is proud to be partnering with Chatham First, a non-profit club that works to improve the quality of life in our area. This partnership will include a weeklong Christmas in Historic Chatham celebration with the Christmas Bazaar being the kick-off!

The Christmas Bazaar is held in the indoor arena of the complex!
