Nothing says welcome more than the symbol of the pineapple.  This symbol was used in Colonial America to say welcome to your home.  This pineapple angel design is hand crochet with #10 crochet thread and features a pineapple design down the sides of the angel and then repeated on the bottom.   The  angel is 14-16 inches tall and hand crochet and then starched with old fashioned sugar starch then placed on a mold to dry.  Once dry, the finishing touches of ribbon are added to the angel so that it will be ready for your tree top or mantle
