Let Summer Begin!

Let Summer Begin!

It seems hard to believe that July is nearly here.  June seemed to go by so fast.  The big Fourth of July weekend is coming next weekend.  Are you ready?  July makes me think of fireworks, cookouts, swimming in the lake, and just spending time together.  Three-day weekends give families more time to be together.    July means that even though summer is just starting it is time to enjoy all that summer has to offer before it is gone.

Here is another installment of the six pictures that I need for Especially For Ewe.  This time you get to take a look at the mess I make while creating dresses including cutting out fabric with pieces of fabric all over the floor.  The cats tend to like this part.  This gives them something else to bat around the floor.  This fabric that you are looking at right now is becoming a cute dress in size 6 with a portrait collar.  The pretty white collar will feature something special to make it stand out even more.  I am really happy with the results so far.  The other two pictures involve Cricut cutting out thank you tags for bags for the Beaver Dam Farm Sunflower Festival.  There is still more to do and more mess to make in the sewing room and the studio getting ready for fall and the shows that are coming up

More new fabric has arrived and there is a new smocking pattern I am anxious to try with pumpkins designed for a bishop neckline.  The little pumpkins standing in a line are so cute.  I am definitely using more fall colors with a lot of projects that I am working on right now.  But don’t worry there will still be sheep represented at Especially For Ewe.

Look for Snap Chap videos coming out very soon.  This is something new for me, but I am excited to learn and grow in what I am showing you.  This will give you another peak into the studio and sewing room at Especially For Ewe.
