The Bedford Fiber Festival Is This Saturday!!!

The past few months with the uncertainty and chaos of Covid-19 has caused chaos, confusion, and sadness in the crafting community. All of the in-person craft shows were canceled. While that was a benefit to the public as we remained self-contained in our family units, the joy and please of what you have worked so hard on being admired and especially purchased was put on hold for a while. Now craft shows are back, slightly altered from their previous state, but back. This Saturday will be my first chance to share with a group what has been created and is ready for a new home and someone to love it as I do.

Saturday is the Bedford Fiber Festival at the Farmers Market in Bedford, VA. The festival starts at 9:30 am and ends at 5 pm. There is a $5.00 admission charge but there will be raffles during the day with great prizes waiting to be won. While this tends to be a fiber event in many ways with yarn, roving, spinning, and weaving, there will also be other vendors. Look for children’s clothing as well as other types of vendors mixed in with the yarn. There may even be an alpaca or two at the festival. The weather this Saturday is supposed to be perfect, dry, and cool. A perfect day to browse among the vendors and start your Christmas shopping. Oh, I don’t want to forget to mention the food vendors. I have already heard that there are funnel cakes coming. The diets may have to be put on hold for that day.

I want to personally invite you to the festival to gather and visit and of course shop. I will be at the festival under the pavilion. My husband will be with me this year. He is my rock and my encourager and I can’t wait for you to meet him and to see what is new at Especially For Ewe. Especially For Ewe has a few things planned especially for that day.
